Take a leap and join our client’s engineering, architecture, construction, and environmental consultancy, where your skills, as a skilled Electrical Site Supervisor, will define electrical works across the UK. Our client is offering a contract role, outside IR35, whereby all operations will take place from their site, near Norwich. Apply now and build your professional expertise and experience on a complex electrical project, centred around the National Grid.

-Competitive day rate of £450 (subject to experience).

-On-site working arrangements.

Responsibilities:

-Ensure all site works comply with CDM regulations, organisation HSQE policies, and safe systems at work, such as the possession of Permits to Dig. 

-Promote quality, health, safety, and environmental management standards, ensuring all works are executed accurately, efficiently and safely.

-Oversee and guide project teams and other relevant bodies, ensuring that specifications, and all ‘setting to work’ practices, are being followed.

-Produce works that align with system requirements, maintaining quality standards, whilst ensuring best practice across the organisation.

-Establish accurate and up to date reports, documentation, and project data, whilst supporting as-built drawing preparation.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree, HNC, or HND in Electrical Engineering is desirable.

-Profound demonstratable experience as an Electrical Site Supervisor, with 5+ years of experience of working within the T&D industry, with a focus on National Grid fields.

-Possession of National Grid Competent Person NSI 6 and 8, IOSHH Managing Safely/SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS, or a CCNSG Safety Passport.

-Strong communication and leadership skills, with an ability to build and maintain rapport, whilst also possessing a full UK driving license.

-Trained in Formal Electrical and Impressed Voltage, with possession of IOSH environmental and HSG47 qualifications is ideal.

-Significant quantitative analysis skills, strong written and verbal abilities, with the ability to work well under pressure, whilst maintaining a problem-solving mindset.
