client is a major company in the UK Water Sector. They currently have a vacancy
for an Asset Integration Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in the
Berkshire region. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality in the
successful and seamless integration of assets throughout the whole delivery
process. In addition, you will ensure safeguarding of any site, process, regulatory
and statutory requirements.
This position will be aligned to water and
wastewater infrastructure or non-infrastructure projects within the Berkshire
region. This role will create an industry-leading
engineering team that can achieve the company’s ambitions for AMP7.
- Monitoring compliance
with environmental requirements in asset design, delivery and testing,
monitoring delivery performance and working with contractors
- Engaging with Asset
Management and Operations to identify synergies and use lessons learned
from previous projects to influence effective designs.
- Supporting contractor
and Operations liaison during the design and Take Over process.
- Supporting key design
reviews (Solutions review / Challenge Workshop, HAZOP, HAZCOM, SWIFT.
- Verifying Operations
capability and capacity to operate new assets as BAU, escalating issues
and supporting the resolution.
- Identifying risks and
issues, reporting to and working with key stakeholders to resolve.
- Liaising with
Operations and contractors to agree to pass through key milestones (Start
on Site, the start of commissioning, Construction Completion and Take
- Monitoring and
reviewing component (FAT / SAT) testing and commissioning, ensuring all
commissioning activities defined in the commissioning plan are
- Following up with
Operations after Take Over to identify issues in asset performance and
- Liaising with
Operations and contractors to manage the defects process and arrange
- HNC or above in an
appropriate engineering subject.
- NEBOSH General or
Construction Certificate or SMSTS.
- Knowledge and
understanding of processes used in Water / Wastewater / Networks.
