Our client is a design and build company providing maintenance and operational services across industrial, commercial and residential sewage treatment and floodwater projects.

They are looking for a Senior Project Development Manager to work for them on a permanent basis. Our client offers scope, variety & development opportunities within the business. In addition, there are opportunities to work on a variety of projects from Commercial, Industrial & Housing developments to Water treatment works (WWTW).


  • Project Development and management of wastewater and water treatment projects, encompassing all activities from concept stage through to delivery on site.


  • This role is in the West Region covering West of England, Wales and Ireland where the number one customer is South West Water.


  • Work closely with the Regional Director, design team led by the Technical Director and then Operations Manager as the projects pass from the commercial phase through design to delivery.

  • Work closely with the Regional Director, picking up projects at an early conceptual stage and working alongside the design team led by our Technical Director in order to define the clients/project requirements, formulate outline solutions and technical specifications and assist with the preparation of commercial proposals and bids.


  • Manage the client relationship, to ensure client satisfaction and commercial and technical project success.


  • Ensure safe working practices are followed on-site including checking that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are followed, correct PPE and equipment is in use.


  • Coordinate of project meetings both internally and with the Client.


  • Ensure quality assurance and delivery of projects on time and on cost.


  • Report to the management of the company on the performance of the projects and any chosen key performance indicators.





  • Wastewater/Water Treatment background.

  • Experience with project delivery in the UK Water Sector.

  • Degree Qualified or similar.

  • Understanding of design processes.

  • Stakeholder engagement.

  • Consultancy/Contractor Background.

  • Full project lifecycle experience.
