Our client is a
leading company in the UK Water Sector who has an outstanding opportunity for a
Senior Project Definition Engineer to join their Project Definition Team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for developing solutions, study briefs
and be responsible for the definition phase of UK Water and Wastewater
Projects. This role will be focused on Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure
Assets.
Within this role, the
output will consist of a specification (Project Brief) and a reference solution.
The selected candidate will provide technical leadership and guidance to
Engineers working on projects. In addition, provide support to project managers
and the Definition Managers in order to deliver the Capital Programme.
Remuneration Package:
Salary of up to £55,000 p.a. Family Healthcare. 26 days holiday. Up-to 18% Pension Contributions (of which 12%
is Employer Contribution).
Key areas of accountability:
Production of tender documentation. Engagement with internal and external
stakeholders at all levels.
Experience / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree. Chartered Status. Strong project management skills. Engineering and design background in water and
wastewater projects. Strong analytical skills. Ability to understand complex project
programmes. Understanding of project risk. Excellent interpersonal skills and the
confidence to effectively communicate with colleagues, contractors and consultants. Strong presentation skills. Full UK Driving License.
