Overview

An opportunity is available for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a well-established civil engineering team in Birmingham.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with a strong drainage and infrastructure background who is looking to take ownership of project delivery across a varied portfolio, including education, healthcare, industrial and residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

·         Lead and deliver civil engineering design packages

·         Prepare drainage strategies and detailed drainage designs

·         Produce calculations and technical reports

·         Undertake infrastructure design for development projects

·         Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary team

·         Review and check designs completed by junior engineers

·         Support project delivery from concept through to completion

Technical Requirements

·         Strong drainage design experience

·         Proficient in Civil 3D

·         Experience using Flow and/or Info Drainage

·         Good understanding of UK design standards and regulations

·         Experience in infrastructure and development-led projects

·         Experience operating at the Senior Civil Engineer level

·         Strong technical capability with the confidence to manage projects

·         Comfortable working in a collaborative office environment (minimum 3 days per week in Birmingham

·         Excellent communication and organisational skills
