Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading mechanical and electrical contractor in a long-term contract position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) on site in Central London. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of residential projects, with an experienced and motivating team.

-Competitive daily rate of £400-£450 (depending on experience) Outside IR35

Key responsibilities:

-Lead mechanical design on projects of all sizes, ensuring excellent client service

-Ensure quality control across mechanical engineering projects company-wide

-Manage project budgets and cost control

-Oversee project and cross-functional teams

-Attend client/project sites for meetings, surveys, and training

What we are looking for:

-Must have experience in Stage 5 Design in a Senior role

-Have a relevant degree or equivalent for a career in building services engineering

-Must have experience using software tools such as Revit and ideally have exposure to MagiCAD

-Excellent communication skills

-Hold recognised qualifications in Mechanical services design
