Are you a junior electrical design engineer ready to take the next step in your career? Blueprint Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and professional junior electrical design engineer to join one of our leading clients. This is a full-time position based in London, with a hybrid work model after the probation period, offering 2-3 days of remote work per week. You will be involved in a variety of projects, ranging from commercial offices and residential developments to sports stadiums.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the development of Building Services electrical designs.

-Collaborate with top architects on innovative and impactful projects.

-Design and specify Electrical Building Services systems, including electrical installations.

-Perform electrical power and lighting design calculations.

-Create detailed drawings to be drafted by the BIM team.

-Represent the company in client and contractor meetings.

-Conduct site surveys, inspections, and monitor on-site works.

Key Requirements:

-A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

-Preferably Chartered with CIBSE/IET (or working towards).

-Proven experience in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.

-Experience attending design team and client meetings is essential.

-Strong design, technical, and software skills (AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Microsoft Office).

-Experience in designing sports, commercial, or residential buildings is preferred.

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary design teams.
