Blueprint Recruitment are working alongside a leading water treatment contractor, who are seeking an experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to join their team.  Located in Kent, this role will play a key part in delivering commissioning activities for the Burham Waste Water Treatment Works project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commissioning water treatment systems and the ability to lead teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage commissioning activities for water treatment systems, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site inspections, ensuring all systems are tested, validated, and fully operational.
• Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the commissioning process.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and on-site teams.
• Ensure all commissioning activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in commissioning within the water treatment sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of commissioning processes, systems, and documentation.
• Previous experience working on large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage project teams effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during commissioning stages.
• Understanding of industry standards and regulations in the water treatment sector.
