Blueprint Recruitment are seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to join a leading client of ours on a long-term contract basis in Bristol. This opportunity is a full-time, site-based role where you will be responsible for managing the mechanical and electrical (M&E) aspects of various exciting Water Treatment projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Avonmouth Sewage Treatment Works, focusing on Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) components.
• Ensure project milestones are met, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to ensure seamless workflow and efficient project delivery.
• Implement and enforce SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) procedures.
• Monitor project progress, track schedules, and manage budgets effectively.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing M&E projects, preferably within the water treatment sector.
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and M&E systems.
• Valid SMSTS certification is essential.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to work full-time on site in Bristol.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
