Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a leading Water Company, on a permanent staff basis.

This opportunity is based in Havant and is offering the opportunity to work on various clean water treatment sites across the Portsmouth Water region.

If selected, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of equipment, whilst performing maintenance tasks and implementing preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure compliance with planned maintenance schedules

- Maintain, diagnose and repair, switchgear, valves and motors etc.

- Visit water treatment works to monitor performance

- Collect asset health and performance data, recording routine activities and work completed

- Respond to breakdowns on a range of M&E plants and carry out repairs

- Ensure equipment is maintained and calibrated to the manufacturer’s specifications

- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Key Requirements:

- A background in Water is preferred

- Experience in diagnosing and fixing complex M&E system faults

- Have an EUSR Water Hygiene card or ability to obtain one

- Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

- Strong knowledge of Chemical Handling

- A good understanding of Water Treatment processes

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Full UK driving licence
