Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!

Are you a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? If so, Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for you! We are searching for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to work alongside a leading engineering consultancy on a long-term contract basis in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a some really exciting heritage projects, and the selected candidate will be required to operate on a hybrid basis, attending the London office 2-3 days per week.

The selected candidate will have a variety of responsibilities and tasks including:

• Reporting to the Design Lead, you will be responsible for the various mechanical / HVAC design processes from concept through to completion
• Development of detailed designs suitable for procurement and installation. This will include sizing, selection, and space planning
• You will be an integral part of a multi-service design and installation team
• Proactive in ensuring effective communication and production of good quality information
• Aid with the development of junior project and design engineers

Key requirements:

• Strong Building Services experience
• Previous experience working on heritage projects
• IES and Revit knowledge desired.
• Competence of all major building service systems
• Good working knowledge of HEVACOMP design software
• Sufficient working knowledge to enable you to establish client’s requirements, and an ability to communicate effectively with specialist providers.
• Able to work and lead as part of a team, delivering a fully co-ordinated and integrated solution
