Attention all Mechanical Design Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading utilities contractor on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be expected to operate on a hybrid basis, attending either the Dartford, Snodland, or Bewl office once a week.

This a brilliant opportunity to work alongside a evolving engineering consultancy that specialises in delivering complex projects across the utilities sectors. This particular project will see the selected candidate working on a variety of exciting Water Treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce concise Mechanical design deliverables across all design stages
• Report to the Design Manager

• Produce design deliverables for water, and water treatment plants
• Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and all other relevant H&S legislation
• Assist in all aspects of mechanical design from site surveys, feasibility studies, detailed design and tender pricing
• Monitoring of design delivery performance and efficiency
• Conduct regular meetings with project delivery teams
• Liaise with Mechanical, Electrical and Civil & Structural Designers

Key Requirements:

• Working knowledge of the layout of Water and Water Treatment works processes and equipment
• A chartered Engineer status is beneficial
• Strong team leader & decision maker with proven experience
• Water and Water Treatment design experience is desirable
• Good working knowledge of MS packages
• Strong communication skills
• Full driving licence
