Blueprint Recruitment are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to join a large multi-disciplinary engineering and construction consultancy on a long-term contract basis in London.

Our client specialises in delivering solutions across all major sectors including Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Life Sciences. Due to their increasing workload, they are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers to assist them on variety of stage 4 Pharmaceutical projects.

The selected candidates will be required to operate on a hybrid basis, travelling to London 3-4 times a week.

Key tasks will include:

·         Developing detailed designs in-line with client requirements

·         Conducting feasibility studies

·         Providing technical support and advice to clients, as well as team members

·         Project management and delegation of tasks to other staff members

·         Assisting senior management with programme delivery and resource management

·         Providing statements and reports as required

·         Assisting with the mentoring of junior team members

·          

Essential skills, experience and attributes required include:

·         Previous experience working in the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences sectors

·         Proficient experience working on commercial projects

·         Good working knowledge of building design

·         Strong technical and analytical abilities

·         Ability to produce work with high levels of accuracy

·         Knowledge of current UK building regulations
