Our client is a leading global engineering consultancy, renowned for delivering high-quality solutions across a wide range of industries. The role is hybrid, and will be based in London.

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative and challenging projects, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical systems. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in shaping the future of engineering solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies from concept through to final production.

-Ensure designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

-Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and reports, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.

-Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely completion of designs.

-Continuously research and incorporate new technologies and best practices into designs to improve efficiency and performance.

Key Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).

-Prior experience in the healthcare aspect of engineering. Also proven experience in mechanical design engineering, ideally within a similar industry (e.g., energy, infrastructure, or manufacturing).

-Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).

-Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

-Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

-Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

-Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools is a plus.
