Attention Mechanical Design Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for a driven Mechanical Design Engineer to join a Building Services Consultancy, on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be required to attend the Sunbury-on- Thames office 3 days per week to contribute to exciting Commercial projects!

If selected, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of various Mechanical Systems. Our client has a wealth of experience in offering Design and Engineering services in multiple sectors, such as, Residential, Industrial and Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Able to be client facing whilst maintaining and developing positive client relations

· Working with other Engineers, Associates and the Project Director, when possible, to ensure designs are valued and meet client specifications

· Take ownership of specific skill areas or activities within technical knowledge networks

· Prepare and review detailed Engineering calculations and solutions

· Mentor and support Junior members of the team, with the possibility of formal line management responsibilities

· Contribute to new innovative ideas, and collaborate within a team to make suggestions for innovation

· Liaise with internal and external clients within the UK and worldwide

· Attend company meetings and conferences where you will have the opportunity to present your project work

· Working with and developing digital tools and products

Key Requirements:

·  Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer

· Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering

· Working knowledge of CIBSE, HTM guidelines and Building Regulations

· Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines

· Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· Good understanding and literacy in Microsoft packages

· Excellent communication skills

· Willingness to contribute to and develop technical knowledge networks
