Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic new opportunity for a motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join a highly regarded consultancy. Working on commercial and residential projects, this role will require the successful candidate to work from the Surrey office on a full-time basis.

Our client is a well-established consultancy known for its innovative approach to mechanical design. With a diverse portfolio of projects across industries such as engineering, manufacturing, and product design.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and develop mechanical systems and components using 3D CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).

-Liaise with clients and other engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements and specifications.

-Produce detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

-Manage the design process from concept to production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

-Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source components and materials.

Key Requirements:

-Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

-Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.

-Strong experience in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.

-Understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience designing mechanical systems and components.

-Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
