Calling all seasoned Architectural Technicians!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are working with a leading multi-disciplinary Design Consultancy who have an exciting new opportunity for a Architectural Technician to join them on a contract basis. This position allows the successful candidate the flexibility to work on a largely remote basis to contribute to Transportation and Governmental projects!

You will be a crucial member of the team, translating design concepts into detailed technical drawings and specifications. Our client is offering the opportunity to work with an enthusiastic team of Engineers and Technicians on exciting projects in a range of sectors, including, Nuclear, Custodial, Life Science, Industrial, Power, Aviation and Education.

Key Responsibilities:

· Participate in design and technician review

- Utilise BIM software, such as Revit, to develop 3D models of buildings and structures, enabling a more comprehensive understanding of the project

· Support the design team

· Create and maintain strong client relations

· Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a strong team

Key Requirements:

· Strong experience using Aecosim and Microstation is ideal

· Prior experience working as an Architectural Technician

· Able to obtain Security Clearence

· Previous experience using Revit is essential

· Degree in Architecture or a relevant field

· Experience putting together a construction package and doing 2-point elevation work

· AutoCAD software knowledge/experience

· Experience working Architectural projects
