Blueprint Recruitment has an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join a well-known, Data-Analytics and Services Consultancy, on a permanent basis in London.

If selected you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and project leadership to the Engineering staff on a range of projects. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion
• Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality structural Engineering designs
• Be the first point of contact for clients, contractors, design teams, and third parties
• Attend multi-disciplinary design team meetings
• Develop scopes of work and delivery programmes
• Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
• Review Structural Engineering analysis and design to both Eurocodes and British Standards
• Carry out structural surveys

Key Requirements:

• Chartered Engineer Status or working towards 
• A degree in Structural Engineering 
• Experience in the design of building structures using conventional Engineering materials, such as steel, concrete and timber to British and Eurocodes Standards 
• Proven experience in developing projects from concept to construction
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Experience in actively managing clients
• Ability to manage and work to budget and program, control costs, and manage change control processes
• The ability to make decisions
