Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are searching for a Principal Civil Engineer to join a growing Engineering and Transport Planning Consultancy, on a permanent basis in Fareham.

Due to our client’s continued growth, they are looking for a Civil Engineer to join their Engineering team to develop the creation of technical designs and to manage various schemes across a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the design of drainage systems and highway layouts
  • Liaise effectively with Developers, Engineers, Architects and local authorities
  • Manage team resources for design work for drainage systems in accordance with, building regulations and the SuDS Manual
  • Review reports, designs and drawing work
  • Mentor junior staff members
  • Attend client meetings and site visits
  • Manage, prepare and control the costs/budgets for Engineering tasks
  • Maintain and develop strong client relations

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Engineering or a similar field
  • Support and mentor other Engineers
  • Past experience working in a similar role
  • Team management and resource coordination experience
  • Civil Engineering project management experience
  • Staying up to date with industry best practices and technologies
  • Understand the principles of sustainable development and apply them
