Attention all Principal Civil Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have a fantastic opportunity for a versatile Civil Engineer to join a specialist Water Contractor on a permanent or contract basis.

Our client is providing the flexibility to work on an exciting Water Treatment project on a hybrid basis, attending the Peterborough office on a hybrid basis.

As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for producing Civil design layouts which are cost effective and meet specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that standard practices are utilised

· Write, update and monitor efficient procedures

· Ensure designs meet agreed standards and time frames

· Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts

· Reduce waste to a minimum from all activities

· Ensure designs consider environmental issues

· Liaise with all stakeholders

· Work to the appropriate health and safety requirements

· Ensure the co-ordination of designs with other disciplines

Key Requirements:

· Extensive experience working in the Water/Process industry

· Ability to act on your own initiative

· Prior experience working as a Civil Design Engineer

· A Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership

· A degree in Civil Engineering

- Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layouts

· Effective communication skills
