Blueprint Recruitment are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join a specialist quantity surveying consultancy on a permanent basis in Snodland. As a hybrid role, you will be required to attend the head office 2-3 days per week to work on a variety of exciting South East Water projects. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in water treatment projects and proficiency in NEC contracts.

Our client is a specialist quantity surveying consultancy known for providing tailored commercial management services to the construction industry. They offer expertise across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, education, and healthcare, helping clients manage costs, reduce risks, and maximize the value of their projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage AMP7 and AMP8 water treatment projects for South East Water, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and oversee project activities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Monitor project performance, identifying and addressing potential risks and challenges.
  • Manage NEC contracts, including preparation, administration, and compliance to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Prepare detailed reports, project updates, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing water treatment projects, with a strong understanding of the sector.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with NEC contracts.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities to handle project complexities.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
