Project Manager - Energy

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a reputable Utilities Contractor on a permanent basis.

This position provides the successful candidate with the flexibility to attend either the Stevenage or Solihull offices on a hybrid basis.

The selected candidate will join a hard-working Electrical Transmission management team and be responsible for the management of Civil and M&E delivery teams, who are working on a large Power distribution project across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the construction team in delivering a portfolio of M&E projects from project initiation to completion
• Ensure projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality requirements
• Work closely with the planning team to ensure delivery programmes are in place and progress is monitored       
• Provide leadership and guidance on technical and contractual matters
• Contribute to new contract tender bids
• Support the preparation of monthly CVR with the Commercial Manager
• Maintain and develop client relations

Key Requirements:

• Previous project management experience, within Electrical Infrastructure
• Working knowledge of the Electrical Transmission and Distribution industry
• Effective communication skills
• Extensive experience working in the Energy/Power market
• Strong understanding of commercial management     
• Hold a relevant Project Management qualification
• Ability to act on your own initiative
• A full driving licence
