Blueprint Recruitment have an exciting new opportunity to for a skilled Quantity Surveyor join a leading water company on a permanent basis in Brighton. Supporting major clean and wastewater projects, this role involves working on critical programs to upgrade and install new water infrastructure, enhance environmental standards, and focus on carbon reduction and sustainability. This is a hybrid position where the selected candidate will be required to attend the office 2-3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project valuations, cost reports, and subcontractor accounts.
• Oversee contract administration, including change management and claims preparation.
• Develop and maintain risk analyses and cost-control measures.
• Ensure accurate site records and compliance with client and project requirements.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities while driving cost efficiencies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to foster a commercially aware culture.

Requirements:

• Degree/HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Previous experience working on water projects.
• Chartered status and CSCS (White/Gold) Card preferred.
• Extensive post-qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of contract law and project management techniques.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools.
