Attention all Revit Technicians!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an excellent new opportunity for a motivated Revit Technician to join a reputable Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy on a contract basis in Cardiff. This hybrid positions requires the selected candidate to attend the office 2 timers per week to work on a variety of exciting commercial, education and residential projects.

Our client provides a wide range of Civil and Structural Engineering expertise across the built environment, including BIM & 3D, Environmental and Transport. Due to their increasing workload, they are searching for a talented Revit Technician to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Revit Lead and update structural aspects of multi-disciplinary models.
• Delivering information within defined timescales.
• Communicate clearly with senior members in the team.
• Ensure appropriate health and safety information is added to drawings and models.
• Manage information in accordance with company and client procedures.
• Producing accurate and reliable structural drawings and Revit models from Engineering sketches.
• Collaborating with the team to resolve design and detailing challenges.

Key Requirements:

• Hold a Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant Engineering course.
• Good Engineering knowledge and understanding of key structural Engineering principals
• Requirement of Revit 2D and 3D and some RC detailing experience.
• Extensive Revit experience within the structure’s environment.
• Experience working for a civil and structural Engineering company.
• Used to multi-disciplinary collaborative working.
• Experience across a variety of a large-scale building structures.
• Organised and methodical with particular attention to detail.
• Positive, enthusiastic approach and good communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines under pressure.
