This is a hands-on, site-based role within the power and civils sector, requiring expertise in National Grid safety procedures and plant operation. Responsibilities: Ensure site safety and compliance with National Grid standards. Assist in the delivery of substation projects, supporting civil and electrical teams. Operate site machinery, including telehandlers or diggers, if ticketed. Work collaboratively with engineers and site managers to maintain project efficiency. Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Requirements: NG Persons certification (essential). NSI 6 & NSI 8 qualifications (required). Telehandler or digger ticket (required). Experience in power and civils projects within substations. Strong awareness of site safety and risk management. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

London | Contract
£45 - £52 per Hour

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Structural Engineer to join a global engineering company, in a contract position. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis, working between our client’s office in London, on-site, and home. This is a great opportunity to work on a exciting commercial fit-out project, with an experienced and motivated team. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £45-£52 (depending on experience). -Flexible hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Design safe, durable structures that meet regulations, using appropriate materials and CAD software for simulations. -Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and ensure contractor work meets structural standards. -Prepare reports, drawings, and calculations related to loads, pressures, and stresses. -Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals, and provide technical advice throughout the project. -Handle planning applications and ensure compliance with building regulations. CAD COORDINATOR

London | Contract
£33 - £35 per Hour

We are looking for an experienced CAD Coordinator to join a leading engineering consultancy, in a short-term contract role. As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) from our client’s office in London. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of commercial new builds and refurbishment projects. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £33-£35 (depending on experience). -Hybrid working arrangements. CIVIL ENGINEER

Lincolnshire | Contract
£35 - £40 per Hour

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join a construction engineering company, in a contract role, outside IR35. As the successful candidate you will be able to work in a fully remote position, meaning it is ideal to have your own hardware. This is a great opportunity to work on a range of residential projects, with a motivating team. -Hourly ranging from £35-£40 (depending on experience). -Fully remote working arrangement. Key Responsibilities: -Develop civil engineering designs across infrastructure, highways, drainage, and public realm projects. -Support project delivery from feasibility through to detailed design and construction stages. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors. -Conduct site visits, surveys, and inspections to guide and validate design work. -Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation aligned with regulations and client needs. -Ensure all work meets health & safety standards, sustainability objectives, and industry best practices. CIVIL 3D TECHNICIAN

London | Contract
£38 - £42 per Hour

You will be required to work on a flexible hybrid basis, which will later drop to remote. This is a great opportunity to work on exciting Data Centre projects with an experienced team. -Competitive hourly rate ranging from £38-£42 (depending on experience). -Flexible hybrid and remote working arrangements. Key Responsibilities: -Lead and produce civil engineering designs using Autodesk Civil 3D. -Assist engineers in the design and documentation of projects. -Support the preparation of plans, sections, and details for project documentation. -Ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and client requirements. -Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the development of BIM models. -Maintain accurate records and revision control of all drawings and models.
