This role will focus on technically detailed substation and piled raft structure projects, supporting design delivery across complex engineering schemes within a flexible contract environment. The position is ideal for an experienced engineer looking for an Outside IR35 opportunity with the flexibility to work remotely while supporting long-term infrastructure workloads. The Role You’ll be involved in: Delivering structural design across substation and infrastructure projects Supporting piled raft foundation and structural package delivery Producing calculations, reports and technical design information Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams Supporting project delivery through technical stages Assisting with structural analysis and technical coordination activities What They’re Looking For Experience as a Structural Engineer within UK consultancy environments Strong structural design capability Experience supporting infrastructure or heavy engineering projects Knowledge of piled raft or foundation structures Strong technical coordination and communication skills Ability to work independently within a contract environment Substation or power sector experience would be highly beneficial. This role will focus on technically detailed Civil 3D production work across infrastructure schemes linked to major defence-sector developments, offering strong long-term project exposure within a flexible contract setup. The team would ideally like someone locally based, although remote working will also be considered for the right candidate. The Role You’ll be involved in: Producing Civil 3D drawings and technical design information Supporting infrastructure and civil engineering project delivery Assisting with coordinated technical drawing production Supporting multidisciplinary engineering teams Working across technically complex defence-sector projects Assisting with project documentation and technical coordination What They’re Looking For Experience as a Civil Technician within UK consultancy or infrastructure environments Strong Civil 3D capability Experience supporting infrastructure or development projects Good technical coordination and drawing production skills Ability to work independently within a contract environment Essential: Eligibility for SC Clearance Defence or secure-sector project experience would be highly beneficial.
