The ideal candidates will come from either a consultancy or client-facing background, with skills in business development and sales. They provide expert analysis, strategic planning, and project management to keep infrastructure projects on track. Our client’s approach is rooted in practical, principle-based decision-making, aiming to improve project outcomes by reducing complexity and enhancing collaboration. They work with key Utility providers in the South of England, and will be growing their team with AMP8 around the corner. Key responsibilities Provide leadership and direction to the project team. Ensure that all team members are working together effectively to achieve project objectives. Asset planning, feasibility, business case, outline design coordination Contract management Identify and manage project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies Prepare reports and documentation as required by the contract Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations Key requirements Previous experience working with a consultancy or have a client-facing background Skills in Business Development, Sales and Client Relations Experience working within the Water, Utilities, Energy sectors The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. What you will be responsible for: -Lead all aspects of SHEQ, ensuring compliance with company, client, and legislative requirements, whilst also identifying and proposing improvements to SHEQ processes. -Build and maintain a skilled SHEQ team. -Develop, implement, and oversee the Contract SHEQ Plan. -Lead incident investigations and support NERS delivery. As part of their continued growth and commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 6-month+ contract to oversee key project delivery for sites between Bolton, Preston & Blackpool. You will be working on a range of projects from EV charging networks to large-scale solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS), supporting the transition to a cleaner, greener energy future. -6-Month Contract (Preston). -Day Rate: £380–£410 (DOE) | Start: Immediate | Full-Time, On-Site. This role offers the opportunity to lead on the ground, ensuring each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: -Lead site operations, managing teams and subcontractors to deliver works safely, on time, and to spec. -Coordinate site logistics, materials, tools, and plant to align with project schedules. -Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards. -Prepare and manage documentation, including RAMS, permits, ITPs, and handover records. -Review and validate technical documents and subcontractor submissions. -Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement on site. -Act as a key liaison between the site, internal teams, and the client.
