Key Responsibilities: -Lead and manage a high-performing planning department, overseeing complex project planning, programme reporting systems, and strategic guidance aligned with organisational goals. -Direct programme management activities using Critical Path Method (CPM), ensuring compliance with NEC3/NEC4 and industry best practices for project scheduling and controls. -Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to support cost management, forecasting, and project delivery. -Ensure compliance and quality assurance, adhering to company policies, safety standards, and QA/QC processes across planning functions. The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis from a regional client office, 1-2 days a week. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale electrical projects, as a part of a highly skilled team. -Competitive day rate of £600-£750 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce budget-friendly HV/EHV engineering solutions in compliance with project requirements. -Oversee the delivery of HV and EHV projects from start to finish, meeting the time, budget, and scope as detailed in the project demands. -Step into both CDM Designer and Principal Designer roles, ensuring that health and safety, and regulations are being met. -Collaborate with internal and external professionals throughout the entirety of the project. -Maintain strong rapport with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders. -Manage and lead the commercial elements of project delivery, including the coordination with both supplier and contractor. Within this role, you will be required to work on a remote basis, attending one of our client’s regional offices, nationwide, 1 day a week. As the successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to act as ‘Principal Design Representative – Delivery’, within a large-scale National Grid project. -Competitive day rate of £600-£620 (depending on experience). -Remote working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Act as the client’s and principal designer’s lead by ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are transparent, clear, and being followed accurately. -Conduct and attend Principal Designer meetings and Pre-Construction Information (PCI) reviews. -Manage and oversee the design works throughout the project’s lifespan, ensuring that the workforce all comply with health and safety procedures effectively. -Collaborate with the Principal Contractor to share and discuss information centred around the planning, monitoring, and management of the construction stage. -Direct and oversee Hazard Review Meetings (HRMs), whilst maintaining concise up-to-date records and documentation within the project hazard register.
