The successful candidate will be required to work on a hybrid basis from a regional client office, 1-2 days a week. Within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large-scale electrical projects, as a part of a highly skilled team. -Competitive day rate of £600-£750 (depending on experience) -Hybrid working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Produce budget-friendly HV/EHV engineering solutions in compliance with project requirements. -Oversee the delivery of HV and EHV projects from start to finish, meeting the time, budget, and scope as detailed in the project demands. -Step into both CDM Designer and Principal Designer roles, ensuring that health and safety, and regulations are being met. -Collaborate with internal and external professionals throughout the entirety of the project. -Maintain strong rapport with clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders. -Manage and lead the commercial elements of project delivery, including the coordination with both supplier and contractor. SITE MANAGER

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a global infrastructure firm, on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be expected to work full-time, on-site, from our client’s London office. Within this role, you will be overseeing and managing a variety of electrical projects, centred around a National Grid Substation, focusing on the development and installation processes. -Competitive day rate ranging from £650-£850 (depending on experience) -On-site working arrangement. Responsibilities: -Manage all site activities ensuring that work is being delivered in a safe and timely manner, and remaining complaint to the project requirements. -Ensure that all elements of the project are following the quality and safety standards set out for the National Grid. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (engineers, subcontractors, and clients), ensuring project requirements are being heard and met. -Keep up-to-date records and documentation of all site activities, in line with industry policies and procedures. -Assist in the delivery of SCADA and upgrades to automation systems. -Conduct and sit in on site meetings, toolbox discussions, and safety briefings. Requirements: -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a relevant field, with a focus on power infrastructure and/or substations is ideal. -Must be SMSTS certified, with a National Grid Competent Person (CP) status. -Prior experience working on substation fields, ideally in transmission and distribution systems. -Solid grasp of SCADA, control systems, and data automation processes. -Strong communication and organisation skills, with previous leadership experience within a similar role. -Fire Warden and First Aid training is desirable. Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for multiple experienced Planners to join a leading utilities contractor, in a permanent position. The successful applicant will be required to work 3 days a week, on-site, from each of our client’s sites in Bristol, Pembroke, Indian Queens, Melksham and Cowley. You will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of Utilities and Power projects, with a large focus on Distribution and Transmission. -Competitive salary ranging from £55,000-£75,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, paid travel expenses, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Produce and maintain concise and efficient project schedules using software tools, such as MS Project and Primavera P6. -Collaborate with other professionals to ensure schedules remain in alignment with availability and project needs. -Keep track of the project’s progression and identity any potential delays or risks, whilst supplying solutions and preventatives. -Support the preparation of baseline and tender programmes. -Create and maintain project development reports, documentation, forecasts, and potential scenario analyses. -Ensure the project follows the requirements set out by the client and relevant regulatory boards. Within this position, you will have the opportunity to support and manage a variety of Power, and Distribution and Transmission, projects, overseeing and maintaining the project plans. -Competitive salary ranging from £80,000-£100,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, health and life insurance, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Create and maintain efficient systems, from the beginning of the project to the end, using tools such as Primavera P6. -Oversee 4D project planning development and promote collaborative planning activities to ensure effective project implementation. -Observe the project’s development, using the project requirements as a guide, to identify potential risks, challenges, or opportunities and adapting the plan to fit. -Conduct site visits and gatherings to collect project development data, reporting any challenges or delays to project teams and the Senior Planning Manager. -Develop ongoing project schedules and ensure that as-built plans are accessible at the project’s end. -Promote and build rapport with client advocates and internal teams, whilst also providing ongoing training opportunities, and software administration. Requirements: -Extensive experience in planning Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Civil projects, with an understanding of NEC3/4 contracts and HSE practices. -Must have possession of a CSCS card. -Strong proficiency in the use of software tools like Primavera P6 and the Microsoft Office suite, with solid scheduling and data handling abilities. -Excellent communicator with the ability to coordinate and work with other professionals, in a fast-paced environment. -Must have a proactive approach, with a problem-solving mindset, ensuring the identification of risks, challenges, and opportunities.
