Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee structural engineering design activities for a variety of Residential, Industrial, and Data Centre projects, from concept to completion. -Lead project teams, focusing on task delegation, work and activity reviews, and guiding and supporting junior engineers towards professional development. -Collaborate with architects, internal stakeholders, contractors, and clients to propose structural solutions, enhancing project efficiency. -Produce and analyse structural drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations, throughout all project stages. -Observe project deliverables, budgets, and programme milestones to identify potential risks and concerns early, allowing for appropriate escalation. -Support business development through client presentations, proposal preparation, and ensuring brilliance through new advancements within structural engineering. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking for flexible project work, with the freedom to undertake surveys around existing commitments, including weekday or weekend availability. The work will focus on site-based structural inspections, condition assessments and technical reporting across a range of building and infrastructure environments.
