Blueprint Recruitment is seeking an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid position, requiring the successful candidate to attend the London office 3 days per week to work on exciting projects. Our client has built an unrivalled reputation by offering excellent services in a variety of sectors, including, Healthcare, Hospitality, Higher Education, Tourism and Technology. Key Responsibilities: · Ensure designs are carried out in accordance with current standards & best practices · Preparation of designs for civil and drainage schemes, from initial feasibility, planning schemes, concept through to detailed design · Produce design calculations and check calculations prepared by others · Ensure that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule, and budget · Develop innovative design solutions to serve and benefit clients Key Requirements: - Extensive Civil Engineering experience · A degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field · Chartered Engineer or working towards · Experience working on drainage projects · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Able to take initiative and work independently when necessary · Working knowledge of industry best practice for Civil Engineering designs Benefits: · Competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants · A generous amount of holiday allowance · Flexible working arrangements will be accommodated as best they canFor further information on this opportunity, please contact Pete Castle on 02392 603030 or email pete.castle@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
