Our client is offering the flexibility to attend the Bedford office on a hybrid basis! The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the team, sharing expertise and ensuring the delivery of outputs meet client’s briefs across Residential and Commercial projects. Key Responsibilities: · Prepare drawings to support Residential and Commercial planning applications · Produce designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codes · Support and contribute to the development of more junior staff · Ensure the provision of efficient and high-quality Engineering services · Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary design team · Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures · Prepare drawings to support s38, s104, and s278 applications · Preparing Engineering base plans to support the design of Residential sites · Maintain and develop positive client relations Key Requirements: · A degree in Civil Engineering · Past experience working on Residential and Commercial projects, especially Roads and Drainage · Chartered Engineer status or working towards · Experience managing a team · Experience with current UK design standards and working practices. · Good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written - Proven experience in developing projects from concept to construction stage · Ability to work and collaborate independently and as part of a team · Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit and Adobe · Extensive experience working as a Civil Engineer Benefits: · Profit share scheme · Flexible working · Company pension scheme · Life assurance · Healthcare cover · Travel insurance cover · Bonus birthday day off · Cycle to Work Scheme · Buy or sell five days of annual leave For further information on this opportunity, please contact Pete Castle on 02392 603030 or email pete.castle@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
