Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have a fantastic new role available for an experienced Project Manager to join a renowned construction contractor on a permanent or contract basis. This site-based position is located in Chelmsford and will see the successful candidate driving forward a high value infrastructure programme for Cadent Gas as part of our client Gad Operations Team. Our client is a leading service provider in the Gas Distribution and Transmission infrastructure sectors in the UK. They are responsible for the delivery of multiple long-term frameworks across the UK, from pipeline diversion to large civil engineering projects. Due to their increasing workload, they are on the lookout for a seasoned project manager to join their dynamic team. Your responsibilities will include: Lead the integrated project teams to safely deliver the portfolio of projects in line with contracts and frameworks. Effectively manager resources to ensure the most cost-effective model is deployed. Manage costs throughout the life cycle of each project. Support future tenders to ensure longevity of contracts. Monitor/review and deliver commercial expectations and quality standards. Sustainable reduction in delivery costs to bring the required efficiencies on the programme. Ensure alignment with our client’s vision through delivery of the contract. Build/develop and maintain relationship with the client and gas construction senior team. Successful delivery of performance management model Build skilled and sustainable team to support programme delivery. Key contributor to the delivery vehicle strategy to ensure sustainable performance and secure contract extension. Skills and knowledge requirements: Previous experience at project management level in a similar environment is essential. You will be able to demonstrate your experience of delivering large portfolios of projects. Knowledge of the Gas, construction or utilities industry is essential. Outstanding leadership qualities required.
