LEAD COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Commissioning Engineer to join a leading engineering company, in a 6-month contract position. Our client offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid arrangement, with up to three days a week in their office in Cumbria. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting nuclear projects with a motivating and experienced team. Key Responsibilities: -Lead a team of engineers and technicians during testing and commissioning. -Prepare and oversee test documents and team activities. -Handle changes (FOBs and TQs) and works with regulators to meet requirements. -Participate in design reviews and collaborate with engineering teams. -Schedule and manage work in line with project timelines. Attention all Senior Quantity Surveyors! Here at Blueprint Recruitment we have an excellent opportunity with a well-established client of ours. They are looking for someone to join them in a contract role, who will bring expert experience to their team. The successful candidate will be based at the clients Cumbria office, with the option to work in a hybrid role also. Our client is a global leading engineering consultancy, focusing on a range of sectors including transport, energy, water and buildings. They’re well known for delivering sustainable and innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: -Manage quantity surveying tasks for projects and work packages. -Collaborate with design, construction, and supply chain teams to control costs. -Liaise with client to meet business needs. -Manage the main contract and ensure proper documentation, including preparing and issuing subcontract documentation. -Oversee payment applications and prepare cost reports, budgets, and forecasts. -Assist in managing subcontractor performance.
