Blueprint Recruitment are looking to speak with skilled BIM Leads who are interested in joining a reputable MEP contractor on long-term contract or permanent basis. Our client is looking for a BIM Lead to set up and manage BIM standards, oversee COBie data entry, and ensure quality control. In this role, you’ll balance hands-on modelling with leadership, dedicating 2-3 days in the office per week to team management and quality assurance. You’ll work closely with a full-time in-house modeller and coordinate with a part-time outsourced team. Experience in contractor environments is essential, ideally within high-rise residential projects. Key Responsibilities: Establish BIM protocols, ensure model consistency, and oversee COBie data input and output. Contribute to and supervise modelling tasks, supporting team efforts in complex, large-scale residential projects. Lead a small team, balancing project quality and deadlines effectively. Requirements: Essential to have a contractor background, ideally with exposure to high-rise residential. Proficiency in BIM software, COBie standards, and related BIM tools. Able to attend the London office on a full-time basis in your first month, switching to 2-3 days per week thereafter.
