Blueprint Recruitment has a fantastic new opportunity for a Senior Principal Engineer to join an established Engineering Design Consultancy on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be able to attend the Esher office on a hybrid basis to work on Infrastructure, Highways and Rail work Due to our client’s growth, they are looking for a Senior Principal Engineer to oversee Engineering projects whilst providing support and guidance to the team. Key Responsibilities: · Lead and manage Engineering projects from initiation through to completion · Provide technical leadership and mentorship · Develop and review Engineering designs, calculations and specifications · Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost-benefit analyses · Collaborate with stakeholders to establish goals and objectives · Prepare and deliver presentations, reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders · Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in Engineering Key Requirements: · 5 years’ experience as a Principal Engineer · Ability to mentor more junior staff · A chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership · A degree in Engineering or a similar field · Strong experience using Frame Analysis, including, TEDDS, TETRA, MIDAS, WALLAP and PLAXIS · A Temporary Works, Structural and Geotechnical background ideally · Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Benefits: · Access to the company’s benefits scheme · A generous amount of annual leave · A competitive salary For further information on this opportunity, please contact Sophie Pearce on 02392 603030 or email sophie.pearce@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
