Blueprint Recruitment are searching for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join one of our leading clients. This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects across different sectors, contributing to sustainable design solutions in a supportive and collaborative environment. This role offers hybrid working, with up to three days in the office in Leicester. Our client is a top multidisciplinary consultancy, working across sectors like education, healthcare, residential, commercial, and more. They are known for their focus on sustainability, innovative technology, and delivering excellent service to clients. Key Responsibilities: -Create detailed electrical designs for various projects, including lighting, power, and communication systems. -Use software like AutoCAD, Revit, and other tools to create accurate electrical drawings and designs. -Liaise with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, and mechanical engineers, to ensure effective design solutions. -Perform calculations and tests to ensure the designs are safe, meet regulations, and are cost-effective. -Participate in client meetings and liaise with contractors and project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects. -Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Key Requirements: -A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a similar field, or equivalent experience. -Experience in electrical design, ideally in building services. -Knowledge of electrical design software like AutoCAD, Revit, and other tools. -Good understanding of electrical standards, rules, and regulations. -Strong communication skills to work well with teams and clients. -Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple projects at once. -Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is a plus, but not required.
