This role is ideal for someone who can comfortably access the Liverpool office on a hybrid basis and enjoys technically focused coordination work across education and secure-sector projects. You'll be supporting multidisciplinary building services schemes, working closely with engineers and project teams to coordinate Revit models, manage project information and drive BIM delivery through key design stages. The Role You'll be involved in: Producing and coordinating Revit MEP models Supporting BIM delivery across education and secure-sector projects Managing drawing updates and model revisions Coordinating with engineers, consultants and project stakeholders Assisting with clash detection and design coordination activities Supporting projects through technical design stages Maintaining BIM standards and model quality The majority of work will focus on consultancy-stage coordination rather than contractor-led delivery. What They're Looking For Experience as a Revit MEP Coordinator or BIM Coordinator Strong Revit MEP capability Background within building services or MEP environments Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design projects Good communication and technical coordination skills Ability to work collaboratively within project teams Experience within education, government or secure-sector projects would be advantageous but is not essential. Are you ready for the next step in your career? Our client has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Architectural Technician to join a well-established architecture firm, in a permanent position. As the selected candidate, you will be expected to work on-site, with flexible working hours, from our client’s office, located near Liverpool. Within this position, you will be responsible for a variety of Commercial, Healthcare, Defence, and Education projects. -Competitive salary of £45,000-£55,000 (depending on experience). -Company pension scheme, generous annual leave, and ongoing career development opportunities. Responsibilities: -Produce accurate technical architecture drawings and specifications for a variety of Commercial, Healthcare, Education, and Defence projects, across all project stages. -Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, clients, and designers to ensure that all designs align with the project specifications. -Conduct quality assurance, compliance, and design reviews, ensuring that all work aligns with current regulations and policies. -Coordinate project schedules, visualisations, and documentation, allowing for efficient planning and construction to take place. -Locate potential design risks, concerns and challenges and put forward solutions and rectifications, whilst supporting value engineering. -Conduct site visits and meetings, ensuring that the project aligns with the plans and specifications, whilst also coordinating with stakeholders. Requirements: -Previous experience as an Architectural Technician, or a similar role, within a design or consultancy field. -Solid technical background, with an understanding of software tools, such as Revit, CAD, and/or BIM, with a strong understanding of drawing principles. -Strong understanding of current building regulations, detailing, and construction methods and strategies. -Effective communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with engineers, contractors, and clients. -Sound organisation skills, with a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage several concurrent projects.
