Blueprint Recruitment is working with a leading global engineering consultancy renowned for delivering sustainable infrastructure and transport solutions. We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-driven Drainage Engineer to join our client’s expanding team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role where you will be required 2 days per week in one of our clients offices based across West Yorkshire, Midlands and Southwest England offices, where you'll contribute to high-profile highway infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities: -Design highway drainage systems in line with national and local standards. - Checking and overseeing design -Apply SuDS principles to roads and highways improvement projects. -Use tools like MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, or InfoDrainage for modelling and analysis. -Prepare reports, drawings, and drainage strategy documents. -Ensure compliance with DMRB and support planning submissions. Key Requirements: -Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. -Must have National highways experience, doing drainage design checking. -Chartered status/ or extensive experience within this role. -Strong knowledge and experience using MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage. -Proficiency in MicroDrainage, Civil 3D, and other relevant design and modelling tools. -Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.For further information on this opportunity, please contact Penny Bendle on 02392 603030 or email penny.bendle@blueprintrecruit.com Alternatively, please apply directly using the “Apply” option below.
