Blueprint Recruitment are seeking a skilled BIM Manager to join a leading building services consultancy on a permanent basis in St Albans. Reporting directly to the directors, the successful BIM Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the team meets project deadlines, adheres to ISO 19650 standards, and maintains the company’s position at the forefront of BIM best practices. About Our Client Our client is a well-established building services consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. They specialise in providing high-quality design and project management services for a range of sectors. With a commitment to adopting cutting-edge technology, they have a dedicated focus on BIM processes to drive project efficiency and excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the Revit team to meet project deadlines and deliverables. Implement and maintain ISO 19650 standards, achieving at least BIM Stage 2 compliance. Develop and manage company-specific Revit templates and libraries. Conduct internal BIM training and identify development needs for the Revit team. Negotiate competitive rates for BIM-related software licenses and manage renewals. Research and recommend new BIM software, processes, and best practices. Review and manage Employer’s Information Requirements (EIRs) and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs). Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project delivery. Lead internal clash detection processes and coordinate external workshops as required. Drive the company’s effort to achieve BIM certification. Requirements Extensive experience in BIM management within the building services sector. Proficiency in Revit MEP and a strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards. Proven ability to manage BIM workflows and processes across multiple projects. Familiarity with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and Employer’s Information Requirements (EIRs). Experience with clash detection and BIM-related software tools. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Proactive approach to problem-solving and adopting new technologies.
