As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that reduce carbon emissions while ensuring future energy security. As part of the Net Zero Engineering team, you will be working on a variety of projects, ranging from feasibility studies to detailed designs and site-based assignments. Current initiatives include hydrogen production and storage as well as industrial decarbonisation projects. Key responsibilities Oversee the technical aspects of mechanical engineering projects across various design phases, from initial feasibility to detailed design. Build strong relationships with clients and team members, working closely to deliver tailored solutions. Participate in design reviews and review Performance Standards for Safety. Critical Elements in relation to mechanical systems. Key Requirements Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEng/MSc). Chartered Engineer status and membership in IMechE are highly desirable. Solid technical background and experience in regulated industries such as power, chemical, or oil and gas.
