Responsibilities: Lead and deliver geotechnical projects, including analysis, design, and appraisals for onshore gas infrastructure. Manage project scopes to ensure quality delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets. Prepare bids, project documentation, and reports to high standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various departments to ensure integrated project delivery. Engage in business development activities, including client meetings, proposals, and stakeholder engagement. Requirements: Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline. Significant experience in geotechnical engineering within the energy or construction sectors. Familiarity with British Standards, Eurocode 7, and DMRB. A full UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships. Desirable: Chartered Engineer status with post-chartered experience. Knowledge of Ground Movement Assessments, Soil/Pipeline Interaction Analysis, and Foundation Design. Experience with Plaxis 2D/3D and Ple4Win software. Critical Elements in relation to mechanical systems. Key Requirements Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (MEng/MSc). Chartered Engineer status and membership in IMechE are highly desirable.
