Here at Blueprint Recruitment we have a new and exciting role with a top leading client, for an enthusiastic and highly skilled Commissioning Manager. The successful candidate will be required to attend a meeting in Reading once a week, in addition to working hybrid 1-2 days a week from the clients most local office to yourself. Our client is a globally recognised engineering and project management firm, specialising in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. Key Responsibilities: -Oversee full commissioning process for engineering systems. -Plan and manage schedules, documentation, and quality checks. -Coordinate with teams to ensure system readiness. -Lead on-site testing, inspections, and final handover. -Ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met. -Review manuals and support training post-handover. -Report progress, risks, and resolutions to stakeholders. This permanent role offers hybrid working, from any of the client’s UK offices. Key Responsibilities: -Deliver energy infrastructure projects on time, on budget, and to high standards. -Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and commercial areas. -Maintain strong client relationships and clear stakeholder communication. -Track and report on progress, costs, and resource allocation. -Proactively manage risks, issues, and project opportunities. Key Requirements: -Must have previous project management experience. -Strong experience on previous power transmission and distribution network projects. -Strong knowledge of project delivery and risk management. -Excellent communication and organisational skills. -Relevant degree or project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APM).
