Blueprint recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Principal Civil Design Engineer to join a leading, Design and project delivery Consultancy on a permanent basis. This position offers the flexibility for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Salford office 3 times per week to work on a variety of exciting Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Check calculations and production of detailed drawings to ensure engineering designs meet appropriate quality and compliance controls, project brief and customer requirements

· Ensure that time, cost, quality, resource management and project requirements are clearly understood and met

· Production of design deliverables, including drawings, specifications and site surveys

· Produce Civil and Structural design packages for all aspects

· Lead the delivery of design packages across multiple projects

Key Requirements:

· Chartered Member of ICE or IStructE (or Equivalent)

· Carry out technical design reviews/critiques of projects in process

· Sound knowledge of current codes, standards and responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations

· Experience managing medium-size projects or managing packages on large projects

· Ability to work within a team and independently
