The successful candidate will be an individual which is highly skilled and experienced in a senior role. The vacancy will consist of hybrid working, with up to 2 days a week at the clients office in London.

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy, focusing on data centres and built environment design services.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead mechanical design projects from start to finish, ensuring technical needs are met.

-Create detailed designs and CAD models using standard industry tools.

-Liaise with other teams to ensure smooth product integration.

-Ensure designs meet industry standards, focusing on cost, quality, and ease of manufacturing.

-Conduct design reviews and risk assessments, identifying issues and finding solutions.

-Prepare technical documents, reports, and specs for design and manufacturing.

Key Requirements:

-A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

-Strong experience in mechanical design, preferably with data centre projects.

-Skilled in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

-Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

-Good communication and teamwork skills, with experience in collaborative settings.

-Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
