Calling all Civil Design Engineers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are working with an International Design Practice, who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join them on a permanent basis in London. 

The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the team, sharing expertise and ensuring the delivery of outputs meet client’s briefs by working alongside Project Engineers, Architects and Designers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Produce designs for projects in accordance with relevant design standards and codes
• Lead the Civil Engineering design and provide supervision
• Ensure the provision of high-quality Engineering services
• Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures
• Be aware of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work, and the project BIM Execution plan

Key Requirements: 

• Extensive Drainage experience
• Experience developing Suds strategies for major developments
• A degree in Civil Engineering
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards
• Working knowledge of design software such Microdrainage, Civil 3D and BIM
• Experience with current UK design standards and working practices
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
