Are you a Senior Geotechnical Engineer looking for your next career move?  

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading Construction Company, on a permanent, hybrid basis in London.

The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the team, sharing expertise and ensuring the delivery of outputs meet client’s briefs.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and execute site investigations to assess subsurface conditions

· Conduct field tests and sampling to collect data for analysis.

· Use Geotechnical software and analytical methods to interpret data

· Develop earthwork specifications and grading plans for cut and fill operations, embankments, and excavations.

· Evaluate risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential Geotechnical challenges

· Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and environmental requirements

· Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and documentation for regulatory approval and permitting processes

· Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Civil Engineers and Architects to integrate Geotechnical requirements into overall project plans

· Stay informed about advances in Geotechnical Engineering practices, technologies, and regulations.

Key Requirements:

· A degree in Engineering is required

· Chartered Engineer status or working towards

· Extensive experience working as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer

·Past experience working on a wide range of projects

· Previous experience undertaking, scoping and reviewing Preliminary Risk Assessments and Intrusive Ground Investigations

· Strong understanding of contaminated land legislation and planning regime

· Experience in Geotechnics, groundworks and excavations

· Excellent report writing skills

· Ability to support team members

· Experience being client facing to develop positive working relations 

· Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
