Are you a senior mechanical design engineer looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Blueprint Recruitment would like to talk to you regarding an unmissable opportunity with one of our global leading clients. The successful candidate will be a permanent member of the team, working in a hybrid role with up to three days a week in their office, either London, Warwick, or Salford.

Our client is a global leader in the engineering sector, offering sustainable solutions, focusing on a variety of sectors including, aviation, defence, nuclear, power, public, rail, life sciences and industry, and highways.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion.

-Collaborate with electrical, structural, and software teams.

-Carry out mechanical design calculations and analysis.

-Create technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

-Ensure designs are manufacturable, safe, and reliable.

-Manage project timelines and budgets.

-Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Requirements:

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).

-Extensive experience in mechanical design engineering.

-Proven ability to lead projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

-Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) and engineering analysis tools.

-Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical design.

-Experience within pharmaceutical sector or transferable project experience (healthcare, labs and clean rooms).
