Calling all driven Mechanical Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to join a leading Property and Construction Consultancy, on a permanent basis.

This position offers the flexibility to work on a hybrid basis, attending the London office 2-3 days per week!

The experienced Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in the design and development of Mechanical systems and components for Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects.

Our client is expanding their Engineering team due to the increasing demand for their bespoke services in a range of sectors, including: Education, Healthcare, Transport and Retail.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide oversight for projects, ensuring adherence to project scopes and standards

· Contribute to the development of more junior staff members

· Design mechanical components, equipment, and systems for various applications

· Develop detailed Engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations using CAD software and Engineering principles

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes and modifications

· Manage projects from conception to completion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation

- Stay updated on relevant guidelines and requirements to ensure designs meet quality and safety standards

Key Requirements:

· Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or related field

· Proven experience in mechanical design, analysis, and project management

· Proficiency in CAD software, e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Familiarity with industry standards and regulations

· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
