Attention all Senior Project Managers!
Blueprint Recruitment are working alongside a leading infrastructure and civil engineering consultancy, who are on the lookout for a Senior Project Manager to join their team. This permanent position is located in Milton Keynes, and will require the selected candidate to operate on a hybrid basis, attending the office 2-3 days per week. Our client is presenting a fantastic opportunity to join their utilities department to work on a major rail project.
Our client
This company specialises in providing a range of infrastructure and civil engineering services, focusing on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of essential utilities and infrastructure. Their key services cover areas such as water, power, telecommunications, and rail, supporting the construction and upkeep of critical networks across these sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing strategies for obtaining any required third-party agreements, land access, highlighting program and project risks relating to consents required
- Effective liaison with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure knowledge transfer, design integration, and timely project delivery
- Affective design coordination, between third-party asset owners and the project
- Promote and sustain the highest standards for Health, Safety, and the Environment
- Manage and ensure the performance of contractors to deliver project outcomes to time, cost, and quality
Key requirements:
- A proven track record of delivering complex projects, displaying: the ability to lead a project team, manage project portfolios at different stages in their life cycle, identifying risks and ensuring effective budgeting.
- Previous experience managing projects of substantial value.
- Strong understanding Multiple Utilities (Power, Gas, Water) and Rail
- The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of MS project and other Finance Applications (e.g. Oracle Finance) would be advantageous.
