Attention all Senior Structural Engineers!

Blueprint Recruitment would like to talk to you regarding a new opportunity with one of our well-established clients. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in a permanent role. The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis, with up to three days a week in the Guildford office.

Our client is a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead and coordinate projects with high-quality technical design.

-Produce technical design documents (sketches, calculations, specifications, and reports).

-Review and approve reports, designs, and calculations per quality procedures.

-Conduct structural surveys and provide findings, conclusions, and recommendations.

-Communicate effectively with clients, authorities, and the design team.

-Plan site investigations and prepare reports.

-Attend and record actions in design and site meetings.

Key Requirements:

-Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent qualification).

-Chartered status (or working towards) with a recognized professional institution (e.g., ICE, IStructE).

-Competent in designing structures in concrete, steelwork, timber and masonry.

-Able to use computer design software packages.

-Good understanding of CDM regulations and responsibilities of a designer.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
