Blueprint Recruitment is working with a multidisciplinary Consultancy, who are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join them on a permanent staff basis to operate in the Sheffield office.  

The selected candidate will be responsible for creating Structural designs and the analyses of building structures whilst ensuring the successful delivery of projects across their lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce detailed designs, drawings and specifications

- Design guidance notes using 3D software packages

- Develop quality written reports for internal and external audiences

- Ensure health and safety and sustainability considerations are central to everything you do

- Liaise with Architects, Clients and the design team to create integrated structural solutions

- Supporting junior members of the team

- Verify design calculations, drawings and specifications of other team members

Key Requirements:

- A chartered Engineer status or working towards

- A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

- Strong understanding of CDM Regulations

- Previous experience working with British Standards

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to balance tasks and meet tight deadlines
